For sale here are two Antique Imari Japanese plates thought to date from the 19th century. Both plates chime sweetly when tapped proving that despite the edge chips they are in fine condition. Plate one has a small hairline. The first Antique Japanese Imari plate depicts a bird singing on a tree branch with flowers set above. This plate has a scalloped edge with lots of waves. The second Antique Japanese Imari plate depicts a scene of hand painted flowers in alternating red and blue segments. The edge chips to this plate have been filled. Japanese Imari Plate one Length / Width: Approx 21.5cm. Japanese Imari Plate one Weight: Approx 430g. Japanese Imari Plate two Length / Width: Approx 21.5cm.
