A very finely decorated mid 19th century Japanese Edo Imari plate with a Ho-Ho bird as the centre piece surrounded by 4 floral cartouches. The back signed in Japanese kanji characters for the Chinese 15th century Ming emperor Chenghua. Condition is very good with no chips or cracks and the gilding is in good order.
