This is an antique 19th century Japanese late Meiji Period Imari charger depicting alternating panels of birds, textile patterns and flowers, with a nice central roundel with flowers and cobalt blue leaves. The charger measures approximately 12 1/4 (31.11 cm) in diameter and is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There is some surface wear / glaze loss commensurate with age.
