Antique Late 19th Century Japanese Blue & White Arita Yamatoku 12inch Charger. A large 31 cm Japanese Meiji period underglaze blue and white charger from the Yamatoku kiln impressed mark to the back. Beautifully decorated with fisherman in a village set amongst a mountain backdrop. Condition for age is good with no hairlines or cracks just firing marks and kiln dust marks to the reverse.
