19th Century Japanese Vase. This 8 1/2 vase explodes with color in a naturalistic way. It all comes together and makes sense. Typical firing issues dating it’s production era. Pictures don’t totally justify it’s beauty. Any collector of Japanese porcelain will be satisfied with this one.
Item is in good condition overall with signs of usage, wear and chip on one hand (see last photo).
Artist pieces with signature on the bases. In very good antique condition, with minor historic knocks, marks and repairs as is typical, nothing bad. Probably not watertight, so should be used with a liner.

This late 19th century Hokai shell box was made in Japan with black lacquered wood and copper. The box is adorned with beautifully etched coppeR accents, particularly on the legs. Loop holes on the legs allow for the top lid to be tied down to aid in transporting.
